Before the seventies the camp was divided in a section with girls tents and one with boys tents, a neutral zone in between and staff patrolls at night to catch those trying their luck. I dont know if they used mine fields and scent dogs in those days, but rules were pretty strict and if you were cought....................
you were sent home. But that is all "hear-say" because I came to camp first in 1970 as a 15 year old. Also in the old system you more ore less stayed with the National group you came in.
