Due to activities of a hacker i have been offline for a wile. Apologies for the inconvenience Welcome, Dear Visitor, to my personal recipe collection. As our mothers and grandmothers kept their favorite recipes in note books, full of clips from magazines and bits of hardly readable handwriting, I use my computer for my favorites. On this site you will find some family favorites, Flemish and Dutch family recipes, Cullinary Haloday memories, recipes i picked up somewhere in my life, things that sprung from my own imagination and a few other bits and pieces that might interest you. In total about a 100 recipes in English. Most of my recipes are in Dutch and can be found by clicking the button on the left side. If you happen to be able to read some Dutch, have a look. All non-sweet recipes marked are vegetarian, or easily adaptable for "no meat meals". Site History I started my first online cookery book around 1998. It was called "Edda's Menu" (Somethin's Cooking) It was an all English site. I started the Dutch site about 2000: "Recepten uit Eigen Pot ~ Lekker in het Nederlands". You In all those years I changed webhost quite a few times. I started out with free providers like Tripod, Lycos etc. But the pop-ups grew in size and number as the service reduced. Often pages would disappear like that, or be unavailable for days, due to too many visitors. For over a year now i have my own little "dot com" with my English friend: EAT, COOK & ENJOY !!! Edda
